In 2004-2005, three candidates who were funded by the Millennium Leadership Fund of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Campus Association were successfully elected to the Executive of the Waterloo Federation of Students. Brenda Slomka was elected President, Ryan O’Connor was elected as Vice-President Education, and Mike Kerrigan was elected Vice-President Student Affairs. OPCCA President Adam Daifallah bragged about the elections, and admitted that the party provided funding for their campaigns, in a leaked email in March of that year.
