In 2004-2005, Julia Campbell, a member of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Campus Association (OPCCA), was elected VP University Affairs of the University of Windsor Student Alliance (UWSA). Ms. Campbell’s campaign was funded through the Millennium Leadership Fund, a secret fund administered by the OPCCA through contributions from senior party members. Then President Adam Daifallah boasted about the OPCCA’s contribution to Campbell’s win in a leaked email that was reported on by the Western Gazette.
Campbell went on to get elected as the UWSA President the following year, though no evidence has been acquired to prove that her efforts were once again rewarded by the party.
